California's wine industry has flourished in Mendocino since the 1850s. Whale Watch makes a great stay over destination while visiting the many wineries in the surrounding areas. Many Mendocino wineries offer tasting and are open daily. There are many beer and wine events held in Mendocino County from May through October.
